The episode’s intro was shocking: Elena appears like a drugged junky warming up a cup of ?? Sudden appearance of Connor who surprises her, WOW! This literally freaked me out. Wasn’t he supposed to be dead? Oh ok, he’s a ghost now --- Euhm, doing what? Haunting. A hunter who can’t do no more hunting does haunt, how ironic. The shocker goes on: she knifes him to make this an end. No. It’s Jeremy? JEREMY!?!! 
From now on, we follow Elena and her hallucinations. Blood in the shower, again. (Did anybody of you had a Katherine allusion at that point? As is they wanted to prepare us for the upcoming scenes
). She constantly sees Connor in every person she meets. He says that he’ll stay forever as an eternal reminder of what she had done (Could be a worse (mean more ugly) reminder, couldn’t it? 
). Later, she sees Katherine who promises that her existence will be nothing but pain from now on. Klaus reveals that he had experienced the consequences of killing a Hunter: hallucinations for 52 years, 4 months and 9 days after he had killed The Five. How he had stopped the hallucinations? Oh, he didn’t. It just happened. Nice future prospect for poor Elena… (I wonder how it must have been like for him, killing The Five, I mean 5! He assumes that Elena would be ready to kill herself after only 1 day with the hallucinations – How did he manage to live 19,109 days with them, hugh? Maybe that’s how he got so… Klaus-like: dangerous, vicious, no trust in anybody, paranoid?)
It appears that Elena is actually not haunted, but that the Curse of killing a Hunter is to be tortured by facing great inner fights. Elena’s guilt. The caring girl, is guilty of all people’s pain: people dying (lantern seen), people get hurt and fight. Poor Elena starts crying and saying Sorry – Does she needs to say Sorry for the rest of her eternal vampire life now? That’s so not fair! She fears becoming like Katherine, a cruel killer. And Katherine brings it to the point: Stefan hated Katherine at the end and so he will hate Elena. Luckily, she still has Damon. Elena rejects that idea, as always. You deserve to die is the most repeated message and constant pushing solution that day. Two thoughts about it: (1) Why does Elena deserves to die? Because she’s a monster? Why does a monster deserves to die? When does any creature deserves death? And whose right is it to prevent somebody to life? Not fair!! (2) to deserve could also be seen as reward. Death as salvation, release from her pain. It could be part of the witch’s curse to sell death as solution, just to bring the hunter’s killer down to suicide. Not as a further punishment, but salvation. And so, we find her, where else than on the Wickery Bridge, ready to kill herself. BTW, what a perfect idea to let her mom appear as last hallucination, not Connor, not Katherine, but her mom. 
Even if it’s a Curse, it has somehow a heart, you know, to give you your mom, your family, not your enemies (or is it rather a bad trick, I don’t know, but I liked it). When Elena sums up that Damon was right “Vampire kill people” and that Stefan was right too “I can’t live with myself.” – I was on the edge of my seat saying “Ok, Damon, time to mention the Cure”, but he didn’t, what derp!! 
But he saved her. And when she said “Thank you, you saved me” holding Damon hand in the sunlight, my heart was jumping into the clouds thinking “Saved her from hating herself.” because that’s what Damon does and what he means to VampireElena: Salvation.
The episode has one core to me: Changing.
Elena’s Change is to Accept. That the old Elena is gone and to let the Darker Elena be. To let go Guilt, let go Stefan (I mean: She didn’t attack Damon, but Stefan!). They both knew it and I am, once more, impressed by Stefan. If it’s weakness or strength to let her go, I don’t know, but it’s killing me. Is this the beginning of Delena now? Like in the book? We’ll see and hope and fear 
Jeremy’s Change is his transformation into a Hunter. It was his decision, even if they did not show us clearly, but Bonnie gave him the notes, to decide and prepare what’s going to happen. (“Jeremy, you need to kill a vampire.” – “Oh, ok, give me a stake and I’ll kill Damon.” – “Easy Van Helsing.” XD) Now, that’s the big deal: What is going to happen? What is the REAL change? Overall change: he’ll be a killer which fears me because: it’s Jeremy, the good old Jeremy! He awakes by killing and this will go on, trust me. BTW: Why is this professor the only one to help if the transition is completed? Completed transition means: no more Potential, but a Hunter OR the tattoo to be completed? And what will happen? Why will they need help? Will Jeremy transform into a kind of non-controllable Hulk??

Klaus to Caroline: “You’re beautiful, but if you don’t stop talking I will kill you.” Isn’t that a typical conflict between genders??

Damon drinking to Alaric in his former class room: “This is all about the adventure, pal.” Everybody’s drinking in that show, especially in that episode! What’s that kind of message??
Who’s Silas? The name is familiar… Isn’t that someone who’s sent by God or stuff? Any ideas? I hope, we’ll have a new threat soon 
Damon jumping with Elena into the water under the Wickery bridge, to save her from burning in the sunlight – What did they do there? Stay there in all day?? 
Did you see that Damon and Stefan had a deep bond to speak positive and tried to lead Elena to the other brother? Damon wanted Elena to call Stefan in the very beginning and tried to explain at the end, that Stefan did everything just for her. Whereas Stefan sent Damon to save Elena because it’s about to save her, not about the brother’s conflict. And Damon is the One to trust, to listen to, to believe in. I liked this brother acting a lot in here! They were somehow, both, ready to let her go.
Was is just me or did Ian just looked especially hot and juicy in this episode!??
Tyler to Haley & Caroline: “Girls, you’re good liars.” Oh, how true. They could be such a cool Anti-Klaus-Team but Haley’s freaking me out: she almost ate Ty’s lips 
and have you seen her gaze, when Tylor kissed Caroline? Oh yes, they are ALL good liars!... This will stay intresting!! BTW: Why does the house look like hell and where’s Tyler’s mom?
