The Vampire Diaries Moving to Fridays in 2016!
Hello TVD Fans,
The CW’s vampire population is on the move.
The good news is that most of the network's schedule will remain unchanged come January. However, for the first time since it debuted in 2009, The Vampire Diaries won't be airing at 8pm on Thursday. Beginning January 29, the veteran drama starring Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley will move to Fridays at 8pm, followed by the show's spin-off The Originals (which also aired on Thursdays), at 9pm.
Beginning Jan. 29, 2016, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will air on Fridays at 8/7c and 9/8c respectively, the network announced Monday.
Don't miss it!

New Founder?
I have decided to leave dA, and so we'll need a new founder, comment if interested! I'll be picking soon!
Our Dear Elena...
If you haven't heard, Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine/etc) has decided to leave The Vampire Diaries. What are your reactions/comments about this? The TVD fam wishes you luck, Nina! She will be sorely missed.
Ian Somerhalder's Directorial Debut
Hey, y'all! I know, blast from the past. But I have to ask -- WHAT did you all think of Ian Somerhalder's directorial debut? Last night's episode, "The Downward Spiral," was the actor's first chance to direct.
CAUTION: While there will not be spoilers about the episode in the journal itself, they may be in the comments, just so you're forewarned.
Personally, I don't think he did a very good job. I'd certainly be willing to give him another chance, but the camera angles and lighting that were chosen just did not do the show justice. Everything that happened in the bar in the last seven minutes was horrible, and not because of what happened.

I like what you did there, sirebond-holder ;D We always get some sort of disruption in our Delena scenes don't we? I really wanted to see where that kiss would lead to
I felt sorry for Damon, he was in a very awkward position. Stefan had the idea that Damon had unsired Elena, but he hadn't and wanted to but couldn't. And Stefan can't blame Damon for being with 'his girl' because Elena's not his girl any more. And the things Stefan had done in season 3 or past background just proves that he is no better than anyone else.
I kind of expected Damon to unsire Elena at some point in this episode. I just wished they made it more emotional. I was hyping up in the last episode when Damon was about to tell her, now that was sad But I didn't feel it as much in this one. But I think her feelings remain the same, so hopefully her love for Damon hasn't changed.
Since when did Jeremy get so buff? I sure did see him giving that wood a good ol' chop He has changed alot through the seasons from this druggy teenage boy to this man. A hunter. I think I've said this before, I have a bad feeling that he will kill (accidently) one of our close vampires :/ But I think he will become so powerful that even Klaus should be feared.
I loved all the creepy christmas music in this episode. And is this the first time there has been a christmasy episode in TVD?
Klaus definitly made this episode for me. In fact, when he was 'killed' last season but came back to life, I just wanted him to stay dead. But I'm glad he is still in the storyline now, I have taken a liking to him this season.
He sure kicked a load of Hybrid ass this episode, I loved the music that went with it in the scene too <3
I love love love that you have wrote the memorable quotes down from the episode. I think that's a good thing to do with writing these blogs
